Then my wife got a job requiring Excel. Looking for tutorials to brush up on our skills, I found an outstanding interactive tutorial right in the Excel app. We were happy enough that we upgraded to a family package. There comes a time when the upgrade game gets old, and this satisfies that requirement. And as far as I’m concerned, this still beats the pants off Open Office.

It’s unavoidable. Sadly, we are now in a world where subscriptions are the only cost effective option. If you are going to get office, the family plan helps since you can share the license with some family members. The pricing of an individual license is so bad I just can’t even remotely suggest it… something tells me that’s on purpose though.

So far switching from Microsoft Office 310 to Microsoft 365 appears to be very easy, with no request to update a prior document to a new version, which is good. I'm looking forward to exploring potential new features, which I assume there are some! I do hope there's a one time purchase option, and not just the annual renewal option!!
