Good Programs, a little pricey
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a regular Excel and Word user. I rarely use Publisher or Powerpoint and almost never Access. But there are things you just can't do with Google Docs and Sheets/etc that you need the MS programs for. The subscription model is a little new for me. I have gotten used to buying a computer preloaded w/ Office for life. 6 computers for a year is not too bad. I am a big fan of Excel, anything you need with formulas, sorting, lists, spreadsheets it's a go to. I use Word when needed but formatting always gives me headaches so I revert to Excel unless I need a format only Word can offer. Definitely a good pack of programs but I'd prefer this price for a purchase model rather than subscription, even if it were for fewer computers.

( I first downloaded all of the programs thinking in the same old way of having a tangible (offline) version; then I went and set up my OneDrive and then started using Office 365 in a totally online experience. I love it. Regardless of what computer I am using (I use several throughout the day), I can access and update my files without having to have them on my computers' drives. I was so impressed that I moved my email access to outlook 365 for the same reason. Cloud based. I do need to note that I am having issues getting emails to deposit into certain files on the online version. There are rules set but the online is not sifting through incoming and putting these certain emails where I want them kept. Likely a user problem but I want to be fair that this is an issue. I did not have this issue with the one on my main laptop where i used the "program" to do some archiving early on.
