If you're interested in paying a one-time fee for Office, check out Office Home & Student, Office Home & Business, or Office Professional. Those versions of Office give you the same great functionality and capabilities as Office 365 without the annual fee. Microsoft themselves had to help me out and it took over FOUR months to get it resolved. They were also NOT able to tell me why the subscription expired on it's own (leaving me with NO use of it from July 2019 to March 2020). My employer began using this as well and it's been nothing but drama.
