    It's the same old office I've been using for years with a new name. The difference is you always have the latest version. The only complaint is that the support on mobile devices is scant.

    This is the first time I have used Office 365. I had been using the 2008 CD version, but could no longer do that with my new laptop. I was unable to actually download/install it in my new laptop while at my home due to the very slow internet speed that CenturyLink provides in my area. Fortunately, I was able to use a family member's connection at her home a few miles away. Everything was installed and operational in less than 45 minutes! It has taken a little longer than I had anticipated to get used to this new version as a number of things have changed, especially in Excel. I hate the fact that I have to pay for this every year; it was far easier buying the CD, and having it available to reinstall, than, essentially "renting" it every year.

    Signed up for the trial. Transition to the subscription was simple. Needed help at one point getting to the proper sign in page; the online chat was helpful. When I shared the office 365 with someone, we had to use my primary Microsoft account log in. I considered buying the software to own it, but when Microsoft comes out with a new version of Office eventually the one I would've bought would stop being supported.
