Having said that, Best Buy had it on a great sale; remains to be seen whether or not we'll buy it again next year.

With the discount you purchase this at a discounted rate. I will only be purchasing Microsoft office from best buy. So worth it. Best Buy sends you a code and you just enter the code to renew.

It gave us 1 TB each of cloud storage, Skype minutes, and Office for 5 computers. It was well worth the $$ spent on this purchase. I'd go this route again, as it is cheaper than purchasing it elsewhere. Besides, for the same exact product, why would you pay more?

Every year I get the next great version at minimal expense. That is a new concept in Microsoft Office who has a new version every couple of years. The cost of 2 yrs subscription is less than having to replace it completely when the next version (2015?) Is released.

My thoughts were as long as we were both going to be using the 2 laptops for personal use, the family 365 would be very useful to us. I do a lot of work with spreadsheets and my wife does a lot of online purchasing.
