It is not for me, I suppose it is useful for families with multiple computers. This version has multiple licenses but updates every year are really not necessary. On the "up-side" the programs are reliable and easy to use just like the older version on my desktop! I gave it a 3- star only because of the subscription issue which is a personal issue not because of the way it works...If you want to use Office-- just pay for the single license version or evaluate your needs before purchasing the subscription/ license version.

It downloaded easily onto our MacBooks and works just fine, thank goodness.
