My daughter attends college and needed to have Microsoft office on hand plus she can utilize it on many computers! So happy we purchased the office 365 home plus she was able to get a discount for being a student

Good software package

It took me awhile to come to terms with a subscription vs. "buying" Office. What you by is a license to use on one device. It is not like buying a tool you can use anywhere. Buying 365 Home gives you 6 licenses and is always up to date with any new version..

Microsoft Finally Has A Good Idea

My concern is that I will have to renew the subscription every year at prices that are now unknown. We'll see, if this is a better option than purchasing the Office suite on CDs. I have not, yet, installed 365 on my other PCs.

The upgrade to subscription is terrible. Some trial and error in getting accustomed to the tweaks to the standard procedure. And be prepared to wipe your entire hard drive to download- moves from a few hundred MB for all of Office to 1-2 GB PER application.

If you load it onto another family member's computer it has to be under the same microsoft account so it tracks all 5 PC's. I basically got this because it receives updated versions free and I love the cloud storage so I can back-up important pictures and videos.
