There is a code in the sleeve that you input into your Live/Hotmail/Outlook account that activates the or renews the software in the Microsoft system and lets you download the software to your devices or use the enterprise cloud version in a browser for full fledged document (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) creation, editing, saving, archiving, etc.
