With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. Since this subscription was for 1 person, Microsoft gave me credit for 8 months on my auto renew family version. I've always been happy with this product.

I had to call Microsoft a few weeks later because I got a message saying there was a problem. Person helped get everything back in order. It's great!

Not to happy with Geek Squad sending me a discount after the fact and not being able to obtain it. That was the only unpleasant part. Maybe bestbuy should look into their practices
