Updates were easy and no additional fees were incurred. This program was harder to comprehend and the cost is not a one-time occurrence. Will I update? I have a year to see if I can do without it

We are not computer literate so we needed lots of help, especially transferring info from our old hard drive to the new computer. I think we've got it worked out now so we can use the new unit.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This version comes with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access (last two available on the PC only). Most of these programs are available for use with this subscription on 1 PC, 1 tablet, and 1 phone, along with the standard 1 TB cloud storage (MS Onedrive). If you've used office before, you know what to expect from this--is you haven't, you probably don't want it.

In my case I only use 3 or 5 programs that cover all my needs. but they are not in one package.
