Office365 at a good price

Coupled with the purchase of a new Dell laptop, this is practically a no-brainer. Just be sure to turn off auto-renew once you’ve created the account - you will be able to find a better price when your subscription period ends. Otherwise, Word/Excel/PowerPoint - the three most likely to be used programs in the Office 365 collection - for ~$4 a month is a pretty good deal. OneDrive storage is nice, too!

As with any updated programs, there is a bit of a learning curve, including when you're importing from an older version. You have to cancel the 15 month subscription before it renews automatically. But I'm glad I got it as it's pretty much the standard for record keeping and word processing.

If you open the suite, and then Word for example, it makes new documents cloud docs. You have to go into your programs and select Word on its own to use it in the og way. I'm not a fan of everything in the cloud to start, I have plenty of hard drive space and know how to use it.
