Yes, it is a subscription-based, like everything else these days.... it does what I need. Also, customers need to understand - it is NOT Best Buy that has made this a subscription-based product, that was Microsoft. Take your grievances up with Microsoft directly in regard to the download format.

The desk was seriously understaffed. I found 6 employees standing around visiting with each other and a manager and when approached about maybe helping the long line of people at geek squad they scattered like flies. When I asked the young female manager if someone could help, she said no.. they were scheduled on the floor and couldn’t leave it to help out.. when asked if she could help, she gave the same runaround. When I asked for the name and best way to contact the store’s general manager I was told to call the stores main number and ask for them that way. When I asked her for the best time to reach them I was told, “I don’t know their schedule” in a rude tone.

Copilot is just Microsoft's attempt to stay relevant. Does not seem to be unique to me at this point.

I canceled the monthly subscription and this 12 month subscription didn’t start until the month ended I had paid for on the other service. That was a little wordy but I’m happy I wasn’t shorted any days I paid for when switching to this product!
