Later I found out I could have bought the product from Microsoft directly as a single install (one payment but no upgrades). I was replacing a version that was 10 years old and still working. I only use the simple functions of WORD, so don't need all the other fancy stuff that is upgraded every year. I think the subscription version with the upgrades is for people who need more functionality than me. And if they tell you that you save 10% by signing up for their credit card - read the fine print VERY carefully! For me the 10% of my $573 purchase was $50, and the savings is not in cash it is store credit.

We selected the perfect laptop that is working out exceptionally well. Knowledgeable, patient and very nice staff to work with. The computer was very competitively priced as well.

I am used to Microsoft and there products so it's nice to have the familiar on my iPad that I use more ofter than a laptop

Microsoft 365 - Works Great but Prefer Owning

I'm not please with that aspect (thus lower value score) but the software offers everything I have grown accustom to for Word and Excel.
