However, I'm disappointed that I can't buy a license for the life of my pc instead of having to pay for a yearly subscription. Regarding whether or not I'd recommend this item, I recommend setting up paying a one-time charge for the life of the pc.

From wary to wonderful

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With 6 cameras (includes doorbell) and over 900 events recorded in the first 2 weeks of operation I was wary but then I realized the problem was me. I soon discovered how powerful and flexible the system and individual cameras were as it easily allowed me to make adjustments that brought my key events down to just a daily few. Also get a kick on how easily it allows me to follow a chain of recorded events from camera to camera. Can't comment how it compares to other camera systems but I can say I'm very happy with it and the price was less than half. Still in the learning process.
