It's subscription based for those that don't have or want to spend huge money on Microsoft Office 365 personal via disk. It 70 dollars a year so not bad. All around decent price and all updates on Microsoft are just automatic. Hassle Free... Would recommend this product to others.

Once on my laptop that was repaired by the Geek Squad when they could not access the office 2013 that I paid for. Second, I updated a mac book pro and the office 2013 was disabled and I "had" to update to a paid subscription to access all of the documents that I needed on the Mac Book. Microsoft at its finest in ripping off its customers.

The installation was easy as once I signed up, they emailed me the info to install it on my computer. Everything works fine so I am happy with this purchase!
