Transition Issues

However, there are transition issues when a user attempts to transfer the subscription from one machine to a new machine. When I bought my PC from Best Buy, I also purchased an Office 365 subscription, which Best Buy managed when the subscription came up for renewal. One day, my computer crashed and needed to be reformatted. After reformatting, I tried without success to get Best Buy and Microsoft to transfer the subscription from my old machine to the newly reformatted machine. I got consistent runaround from both companies, asking me for a password and account name that I never set up in the first place. I ultimately was forced to purchase a hew 365 subscription and install it on my newly reformatted machine, this time using a username and password of my choosing. I would advise that, if you are going to purchase this product, you install it yourself and maintain the account name and password yourself.

Good way top start for a beginner

I own Office Pro for both my Mac and HP desktop and don't need to pay anything each year. I would recommend as a starter program, but if you want to stay with Office by the version that you don't need to pay for each year.
