Recently, my laptop crashed and when it was fixed I had lost all my programs so I signed up for a subscription. It is utterly amazing the things you can do! Whoever figured that thing out was a genius!

I feel like the sales people should explain that to you and they should not be sold at the checkout. I would suggest to anyone to get the Office Home. What is going to happen when you have to buy a new laptop in a few years?

I will need to get used to the new format etc. I'm sure it will be fine. I will need someone the actually help with the technical side of this. If you don't keep up with technology it can get away from you.

Purchased when I bought my macbook air and I am a student so this was a must have with no hassle or issues later. Usually offered in student deals as well which I appreciated.

Sure, office has its issues, but I have been using it for years and have been using the new version at work. So, I am familiar with it and generally like it.
