As someone who has had Microsoft Family in the past, seeing the benefits from it, yet noticing no one in the family but myself taking advantage of it; i have to say, Microsoft 365 Personal is a good way to go in becoming a true Microsoft Program believer. I dont regret having purchased just the Personal this time around.

If you ever wanted to cripple an organization, do it by denying their access to Microsoft Office. Its literally so essential to businesses they'll be paying their employees to sit and do nothing Office Space style. You don't want to pay for it, but you will. Its essential, like we all were during COVID.

While I'm not a fan of subscription-based services, the 365 subscription is the way to go if you often use and want to stay current with the functionality delivered in the software. Since the tools provided in the subscription are most often used in medium and large-sized corporate offices, it's a good way for me to have access to the same tools that are used while I search for my next employment opportunity (COVID-19 layoff). Read up on release notes to know what's being updated, and check it out for yourself. Those Excel formulas can vary in a number of ways!

We all need it, buy it and have the Geek Squad install it. They had everything set up for me in a very short time. Very affordable price and easy to use.

Excel, Word, publisher, etc. A great product to help you with your office needs. The only complaint I have is the price. Thought to be a little pricey just to have access for just 1 year.

I am not very excited about the trend toward leasing software and not receiving the back-up. That said, I did carefully investigate pricing and details on the purchase of 365 Personal for the first year. With a computer purchase through Best Buy (and other stores), Microsoft makes it available for $49, and it includes a generous round of products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher. Excel, OneNote and Access are also included. I couldn't find a better price, so I have a year to test all the bells and whistles and then decide where to go from there.
