I find it odd that it is now subscription, although you can pay a lifetime fee to keep the program for the life of the computer, but the cool thing is that by paying yearly, you get a TON of cloud storage. This is worth it if you are using your computer for a lot of files and presentations. I am currently in school so I use Office daily for projects and papers so this extra storage will definitely come in handy. Once I graduate, I may just pay the one time fee since I will not need the storage or program as much.
