I received this free with my Laptop purchase and it is a great but I am so used to running the 2013 edition that it took me awhile to figure out some little things. I am kinda weirded out by the way Microsoft is changing this to a subscription based program but I can understand their mindset when it comes to people only needing it for a year or less and not wanting to pay for a whole suite of software that they will never use again. I will be sticking to my version that I paid for but I am glad that this was included and it will be used from time to time.

It was easy to activate this product Personal is all I needed and need now. The programs included are fantastic and allow so much easier handling of data. Highly recommended

No issues with Microsoft 365. Word excel are used a lot for personal and work.

I miss the days when you could buy a laptop with at least Word loaded. The Office 365 suite came on sale with my laptop, but the license is yet another annual expense now (and nothing to prevent prices from going up). All I need it for is Word, but it is necessary to get all the bells and whistles and cloud storage (which again, you have to pay to maintain). The question below asks "would you recommend this to a friend?" I have no choice but to say yes. There is actually no choice at all. Thus 4 stars.

The Microsoft 365 Personal software has all the special features and I am loving it.

This is the fourth time I am renewing my subscription with a new computer purchase. Use this for both personal and business daily. I cannot live nor work without it.

I use Word and Excel for my personal hobbies. I use them both several times a month. Outlook is my mail box of choice

This product is fairly easy to use and has a lot of great features. I have not mastered all of the programs, but am looking forward to learning.

You have to go to Microsoft's website to enter card code off of card in the Microsoft Office 365 packet to get download. It is similar to a lottery ticket scratch off. Problem is even scratching off very gently you scratch off part of the code. You are pretty much screwed. Called Best Buy. They said bring in and they'll see what they can do. We'll see. The 30 day Microsoft software sample that came on my new HP Laptop is good and does what I want it to do. I would recommend this software but be very careful when scratching off to read code on card.

Now I can make spread sheets for my home use. I like to keep my monthly bills organized.

Still learning how to use Word and Excel but can easily see its a giant step up from the WORKS program I have used for 7 years with Vista.

I bought the subscription package for one. No problems with installation (with Windows 10). I had planned to buy the standalone package until I heard that after one year, it would not be supported to switch it over to a new/different pc (still as one user). To me, that seems unfair to the consumer; I felt stuck with going with the subscription to avoid the risk of losing use of the product should my pc need replacing after one year. If Microsoft sells a standalone package, it should at least support switching it over to new pc past one year.
