There are so many opportunities connected with this device that makes it worth using and buying. I like that there are a combination of office uses I need and can use to help me accomplish my goals.

Expensive but worth it

Best Buy is good with reminders to renew and still has some of the best prices for electronics and software.

Very useful

But when migrating your old PC files and Outlook to a Mac the Office package is necessary. I'll try the 365 for a year and see how I like it. I'm not particularly keen on uploading my files and photos on a cloud memory even if this means I can access them from another computer. I don't trust those mass storages protects my integrity.

Ultimately you do need to upgrade and it will 2+ years to equal the home and student version using this single PC version which will get upgraded automatically during the course of the year.
