The salespeople who assisted me during the actual purchase of the HP Laptop and the Geek Squad members who assisted me after the sale to transfer data from my old laptop and explaining the operating system of the new computer and downloading Microsoft 365 and Webroot antivirus programs were all very professional and proficient. I am very satisfied with the entire transaction from beginning to end!

Cons: Office 365 is just that. This software is a one-year lease of Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft products. If you like Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., I would recommend that you search the web to purchase the software for permanent ownership. You can save in the long run by buying the upgrade to Word or Excel on the web from a third-party vendor. The same holds true for WordPerfect Office. You can upgrade from much older versions for less than half the price of a full new version of both of these.

With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. Years ago, I bought the discs and downloaded those to my laptop and always had them available to download to a replacement laptop. It was a one time purchase. Now you have to renew a subscription.

I did not get the email, but once I received my laptop i called customer service and they were very helpful and resent me the email for my Microsoft 365. Easy to install, and easy to use .
