However, there are some nice perks - all updates are free and automatic. You can log in from other devices and use the software, and all your customized settings are there. Great to go from MacBook to iPhone to Mac, depending on your situation.

There used to be a time that it came on a CD and you owned it now you must rebuy it yearly after the initial purchase which I find a rip-off but you need it so what can be done.
