You don't have to worry about thinking "when do I need to renew". Plus you get 3 months free along with the year subscription.

I don't use all of the features like Power Point--have no use for it--but I use Word and Outlook consistently and Excel occasionally. I also needed the extra storage space for photos. Will continue to renew.

I don't like Teams, but that is not why I purchased it (Teams sucks and nobody likes it). The download was seamless and works just as well on my PC and my other laptop. The price was reasonable.

Still VERY MUCH wish I could just buy the software and be done with it, or at least only buy exactly what I need. (No Outlook, thanks). But MS knows everyone needs Word to function in adult society, so what choice to we all have? At least it works.

With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. I don't appreciate being herded into purchasing 365 but it's really the best option. No updates for the alternate option. It is easy and a nice idea, minus the forced conformity. Reluctantly recommend.
