I informed the associate that I had a 365 account, and he told me the computer did not have microsoft installed and I had to buy this prosuct.However, when I set up my device, my subscription was automatically updated and installed. Now, I am stuck with a product I didnt need or use and no way to get a refund, because there is no Best Buy within 2 hours' drive.

I had vista on my other laptop and it does not transfer very easy over to windows 8.1 very easy. It is easy to use, I just have not gotten my old stuff from my old computer to the new computer. Have decided to just start new and go from there.

Great product if you can figure out how to use it... It moves things around for you all by itself. If you want to be creative buy an old fashioned typewriter.

You can't beat Microsoft Office and 365 is great because you are always going to have the latest version.

I bought this in a package along with a new Toshiba laptop. The price was good and you have plenty of useful programs in their newest versions for a year, which seems pretty good for me as an student. The only weakness I found in it was the installation process. An error message kept popping up and I couldn't solve it on my own. However, Microsoft's costumer technical support basically did it for me in less than ten minutes. So yes, I strongly recommend it If you do not use it for work. If you do maybe a year's length wouldn't be the most appropriate.
