It took me a weekend to get it set up to look like what I was used to. After that it rocked! My only real issue is getting used to finding all the settings, which is much easier to navigate on the older Windows programs.

Having forced to save documents on ONEDRIVE is very unproductive. When I "save" to computer, I cant even edit unless I have to save a copy again or download to edit, very unproductive. Another thing is the "app" I downloaded had me remove the apps (excel and word) from my laptop and now I have to log into microsoft to be able to utilize it. VERY VERY VERY unproductive and time consuming. I understand saving to onedrive to protect documents but it should be the consumer's choice to do so. Oh and now we have to pay extra to save on this onedrive? GTFOH

Thanks for sharing your experience. We just wanted to chime in and let you know that you can change the default save location for your files. You can learn how to change the location here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/customize-the-save-experience-in-office-786200a7-f5f2-4d26-a3ae-b78c60dd5d3b.
If you haven't connected your Windows 10 to your Microsoft Account then that can cause you to need to log into Microsoft 365. If set your device to log into your Microsoft Account when you turn it on then you will be able to avoid this step.
You should be receiving 1TB of free OneDrive space with your Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. If you aren't over that limit then we recommend you check your Microsoft Account to make sure that you have Microsoft 365 redeemed to the correct account.
