With a personal subscription you get an installation of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and OneNote. If you run a PC (not a Mac) you also get Publisher & Access. The absence of these two programs is one of the reasons I dropped the rating to four stars. I can speak to the iOS side of things: You also get a very good iPad version of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and OneNote. One the iPhone you get a less featured "Office Mobile" app that lets you open Word, Excel, and Powerpoint files and create new Word and Excel files

Should not have a yearly fee

It use to come with computers and laptops you bought. Once bought it was yours forever but i guess they needed to figure out how to charge more money to college students
