This is "transparent." I have a new HP Pavilion and all new software including moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I waited to get a mature product. I have not played with EXCEL yet. I assume this will be just fine.

With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. After starting a new job that required knowledge of Excel & Access I was happy to renew the subscription.I have learned many uses for the included apps. Glad I chose to renew.
