Love this version of Office

Wow, I like this so much better. I also like the fact that it can be used cross platform on different devices. Seriously, it's great.

Microsoft now has two types of Office, Office 365 versions (subscription based) and Office 2013 are available at a one-time retail price and you own it for forever. Hope this was helpful to you.

Customer service has not been able to resolve the problem and I am still unable to use it

After losing all of my documents due to a computer crash and not successful at recovering them it’s nice to have this protection.

Eventually got Geeksquad support to connect everything I needed. My only concern with this laptop is it overheats easily, I purchased a TechNet cooling pad which helps immensely.

Why does everything now days have to cost extra? Why is this online? I was really upset to find out that its connected to the web and I had to use my email address or cell number to activate it, so much for choices or privacy. I am still not comfortable using it.

There is Office 365 versions that are subscription based and there are more "traditional" Office 2013 versions available at a one-time purchase price and you own it forever. Both can be used offline and do not have to be connected to the internet to use. Using your email and cell number actually adds to security of your Office 365 subscription, because it helps us verify that it is you using it.
