I am really glad to have full access to my one drive files on my iPad... as well as having my office files fully functioning. It is nice to know that I can sometimes leave the laptop behind and still stay up on things...

If you are not a student this is a great deal. Microsoft offers these to all students for free, without Microsoft publisher. Nonetheless, is a great deal that besbuy offers us when buying high-end PCs.

I usually buy The Office suite, but decided to give the subscription a try. I especially like that I can use Publisher which usually isn't included. I got a deal on the first year which made it more attractive.

With any computer you need a windows program in order to use word, excel, etc. My yearly renewal is coming up very soon. Will have to renew.

I'm just beginning to use it but so far I find it to be an improvement from the last version. What I don't like is that it requires a yearly payment to keep.. So it is an endless bottom investment.

i'm sure the product is excellent, but i confess i'm still grappling a little bit with the difference between my old program and this. Can't wait til it becomes second nature.

i bought this thinking i was going to need it, ended up that i really didn't need it i could do anything i need to do with my google docs. this was a waste of money!

Install wasn't so simple due to passwords that I had forgotten about but Microsoft office winds up being better than anything else for word processing, presentations and data base. Must have on apple.

Good and important item to have, especially for those who currently have or plan to get a computer or laptop.

Didn't realize this is an annual subscription and exchanged it for the one time use product that I was use too. If you are looking to have the lastest updated version, then this is the version for you.

All I needed was Word and Outlook but it's a package deal. It was a discounted item with the purchase of the computer. I use this software a lot so I was very happy with the "extra."

Shelf was in great condition when I opened the box. It was easy to assemble and is very well made. I just ordered another one.

Even though college provides free MS Office, this is great backup! Used with Suface Pro 6! Lightweight! Fast! Tablet! Keyboard! Pen! Great for Interior Design degree! Just right!

Gift. There should be an option to opt out of reviews and mark them as gifts. Personally, I use a MAC and do not have great appreciation for Microsoft Office 365 subscriptions or prices.

Microsoft Office 365 is a fantastic product that offers all the programs you could need for your home and personal use. I couldn't ask for a better support team. They are always there to help with any issues.

At first I wasn't sure if I'd like having to renew the product every year, but I like the affordability of the product and the idea that the programs will always be the newest version.

Background: 1) I bought a new pc (Windows) and MS Office for it 2) I am a life long, die hard MS Office user, because I very much value Office functionality over Google apps 3) I wanted Office on my pc, phone, online to sync (i.e. – doesn’t matter which Outlook access point I use, they all see/create same emails, view/update same calendar, view/create same contacts list, etc.) 4) I wanted to use a gmail email as my primary email address I have setup new pc and Office before numerous times in the past, and this USED TO BE a crazy simple install, but my recent experience setting up Windows and the newest Office version was a complete cluster ----!!! I spent weeks with MS support, going to the higher levels of support (i.e. - where MS support was proactively calling me, because they realize there is a severe issue). They gave me new product keys to try and start from scratch, but their cross account/product setup integration is ------ messed up. Point blank: if you want to use gmail as your primary email address, and use MS Windows and MS Office including Outlook >> THEN create a new Hotmail email address and use it to create your MS Account from which you will setup Windows, Office and Outlook. This will hopefully avoid the larger cross account/solution integration problems across the MS platform. Also, realize #3 above is just not possible; MS Outlook on pc, phone and online are 3 distinctly different apps that have awful synchronization across them. EMAIL: After initially setting Outlook up with Hotmail, You can setup Outlook to use your gmail as the primary email address across your Outlook access points (Outlook on pc, phone, and online login) … note: I still have some occurrences of issues, so don’t use online Outlook, and use the Gmail phone app CALENDAR: To view/edit calendar across Outlook on your pc, phone, and online version, use your Hotmail account/email as your primary calendar (you can include a view to your google calendar if you like). Unfortunately, this too creates issues. Example, I recently vacationed overseas (brought phone but not laptop), and found that 80% of my calendar items were not showing on my Outlook phone app (am guessing its due to my pc not being online/recently used), but if I looked at my Google calendar app, with my Hotmail calendar view included – they were all there. CONTACTS: I never completely resolved the issue here, as to why contacts do not sync across Outlook on my pc, Outlook phone app, and Outlook online. I found some contacts would auto appear across all three, some would not, and some that did sync, would have different info depending on if I was looking at the contact on my Outlook on pc, phone or online; frequently with some fields turned into random text. Apologies for the rant, but my experience was a multi-week nightmare that I wouldn’t wish on anyone Additional notes: MS Support: all of the MS Support people I talked to (and it takes awhile to get to the point where you can actually talk to them), where EXTREMELY FRIENDLY! And countless times we thought we had resolved the issue, only to find each time it unfortunately did not, and this essentially is what drove escalation to higher level support resources. Google: if the Google apps had just ½ of the basic Outlook functionality, I would switch 100%. Google obviously have the cross app synchronization down (total non-issue vs MS SNAFU). But their functionality relative to Outlook is like Ford trying to come out today and say “You can have any car you want, as long as its black.”

Choosing between the subscription windows office and the other permanent version is personal preference but coming up with less than $100 in the span of 1 year does not seem too impossible to come across.

I am so glad I could obtain this option of one year and expect to add on. They had a special rate which made it more affordable with a purchase of new laptop.

Because I needed Publisher, in addition to word processing, I went with the online Office 365 option. It was not included in the one-time purchase option.
