I find that Office 365 is intrusive to my privacy, ie, offering to store data and documents on the Microsoft cloud. I enjoy playing solitaire, but it keeps trying to bump up to a premium level and to get me to play other games. If there were a competitive word processing program elsewhere, I might have purchased that. As it is, Microsoft has created a non-competitive structure in the the PC market.

I taught myself how to use it and where different parts of the program were located. Not too much different but some were hiding. After a few years, I am more comfortable with it. Just like in the past with all new programs.
