I have tried many times before purchasing same just to ask the geek squad or someone if microsoft 365 was compatible with chromebook. To date, still unsuccessful. I am so disappointed because you have a long wait in chat room just to ask questions to a live person, not a computer assisted.

It did NOT work for me

Best Buy customer service told me that this is an ongoing issue with this product that they have with Microsoft. They told me to contact to Microsoft directly. So I called Microsoft to request to register me online/phone, they couldn't do it because "This is an ongoing issue with the products being sold at Best Buy." Sweet. Their best recommendation to help me was that I should return the item and contact back Microsoft to purchase the item directly form them, then they'd be able to register me. My solution was to return the item and got the refund. I don't need this type of hustle.
