Directs very vague and setting up a log in is a hassle. They need a better package deal, get more for your money. Or we should just start using google docs.

Office 365 does save you quite a bit of money in the long run - if you compare purchasing every new Office perpetual license to your yearly subscription. However, you're always welcome to switch versions!
