I'm on a budget and cannot afford it so why try it for a year to get use to it then have to get it go just didn't make sense.

The subscription ensures that you will always have the most up to date version of Office. It also includes the whole Office suite and 1T of cloud storage with One Drive. If that's not for you, you may want Office Home and Student 2019. You can see a comparison here: https://aka.ms/AA4rq3k.

There is a way to make your default fonts larger in Office 365. Start with a blank document, or if your document already contains text that is formatted with the properties that you want to use, select that text. #1. In the Home tab, click the Font Dialog Box Launcher, and then click the Font tab. #2. Select the options that you want to apply to the default font, such as font style and font size. If you selected text in step 1, the properties of the selected text are set in the dialog box. #3. Click Set As Default, and then click OK. We hope this was helpful to you.
