Terrible Purchase

Calls to support are useless. I have not had access to the software for two weeks and the contract is only one year in length then you have to buy it again. If I could, I would give it no stars at all in the rating.

Very difficult to acclimate to a very foreign process. Could not install Windows Office. Dealt with the help desk for 4 days before someone could assist me. I still had to take it in to the Geek guys who exchanged the Office product for a new one. (I am not a novice and have owned more than 10 PC's in addition to using several at work sites.)

Supposedly I bought this product in the Best Buy store in Tenleytown, Washington DC on Feb. 7. I have not been in that store since 2013... Efforts to reconcile this issue with Best Buy failed because all I got was an algorithm answer by their "customer care" computer.

All old data transferred easily and Office 365 Personal loaded and operates without any problems. All my periferals hooked up plug-and-play wtihout any issues 2 HP printers (old B&W laser and newer Office Jet Pro color inkjet) , Older HP monitor (with an HDMI cable, Logitec camera/microphone, Boston speaker set, Seagate exernal hard drive - operate as before. I did have to add an external CD read-write unit as that is not included in the Desktop unit. There are still several usb ports available for flash drilve and othre future uses.

I ordered it online and it was delivered a few days ago, I went to set it up today and it says it hasn't been activated by the seller. I would recommend the product to a friend but I would not recommend purchasing from Best Buy.

I discovered is only for one person. Called to cancel, got connected to the sale representative, he put me on hold and disappeared, so had to call again and was able to speak to human but the quality of service was terrible!

It said bundle this product with a mouse to my purchase of the chromebook. So I did. Well, bought it got it and cant use it. Was told to go back to the store (2 hours away), did that and was told nope it dont work on chromebook I was very upset

Thanks for your review. We did want to chime in and clarify that Office can be installed on a Chromebook following the steps outlined in our help page here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/how-to-install-and-run-microsoft-office-on-a-chromebook-32f14a23-2c1a-4579-b973-d4b1d78561ad.
Those apps can be linked to your Office 365 Microsoft Account so that your documents can sync between any devices you have Office 365 installed on.

Prevent me from accessing all those great features that you add (NOT!), but don't prevent me from editing existing files. Cost is ridiculous for this.
