You will wind up paying Microsoft another $99.99 for the Home program if you cannot return the Personal version to Best Buy..or try to get a refund from Microsoft. The Home version is good for up to five devices for one year.

This program did not even try to maintain operational integrity or consistency with those released before. I HATE it and would give money to return to version 7 of office suite. Think I just thought of the solution.... Have the Geek squad install 7 on my new computer!

I never used the Spreadsheet portion much but did built spreadsheets when picking components for an engine build. Great for recording part numbers and make notes on special install procedures. How ever I am Just Soo Tired of having it JAMMED down my throat with every PC, CPU, all software boxes, or SSD,'s. Revolting I purchased OfficeSuite on sale for $25-$35 dollars. JUST LIKE WORD with a few cosmetic changes but you can accomplish creating the same Document with a little getting used to. And the Power Point is Simpler/Plain Better. NO BELLS AND WHISTLES! just creating Documents. What is meant to do, just like Word. It ever converts your Microsoft DOCS to the OfficeSuite document format. And can convert either way for product flexibility.

For those like me who had a windows 7 computers it's not even close. There's a reason Microsoft is scrapping the operating system in just 2 years and replacing it with windows 10. I wish I had held off because now I have to buy another computer at Christmas when windows 10 debuts. Very unhappy!

Activation unreadable

Not only was it difficult to peel off the strip to reveal the code, it took some of the numbers with it. I was really careful and spent 15 minutes getting this done. Will be returning it to get a new card with hopefully a readable code. Probably better off just buying it online.

Finally I got a billing person who solved the problem and gave me another license because it was NOT useful, I asked him to ask for the refund of the money to BestBuy. Which certainly did not alert me to this problem ...

Office 365 will work for you anywhere in the world. However, the country or region you purchase your software in, is the same country and region you need to activate your software in. So, if you purchased Office 365 in the U.S., it won't work unless you activate it in the U.S. After you activate it, you can take your machine anywhere and your software will work.

She just didn’t need the service only needed windows and excel which is in “office”!

Installing this has caused probs with my Imac.

I have attempted several times to make an appointment with Geek Squad, however, they are always booked up for times I have available. I cannot give a good rating since I cannot use the computer for emails.
