|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hesitated to move ahead with Office 365 as I was diligent over the years to hang on to my installation discs for Office and Windows. I wasn't crazy about a $100 annual fee, but when I looked at the benefits of staying current with updates, it started to make a lot more sense financially. Installation was easy and you are up and running in minutes. I avoid saving documents to the Microsoft 365 Cloud as it is more cumbersome than other cloud solutions. Office is still the standard for office productivity software.

You can save files to the Cloud and access from anywhere. It includes 1TB of OneDrive space which makes it a great deal for an online backup option. The only drawback is that the Personal Version is only for one user and the Home version is for unlimited number of people in the same household. If you are the only one to be using, it is a very worthy yearly subscription. Installing or extending an existing subscription is very easy on the office.com website.

I think by now everyone knows, especially if you're a writer, Word is necessary because it's the most widely used program.

I use them all the time and they work well. The 1TB of of OneDrive storage is also very useful. However, the annual subscription model makes the software more expensive than it was when you could buy it outright.
