I tried Google, Apple, and a plethora of other free or inexpensive suites and none of them come close to Office. Especially now that you can get it for FREE from Microsoft for any mobile device, this is a no brainer. If you subscribe for $99/year - which includes multiple PCs or Macs - you get unlimited Storage. I now back up my iPhone and iPad to Microsoft OneDrive for free.

Does not allow for non editable docs to be opened. major problem

As with most Microsoft products work as advertised. I only wish Access is available for the iPad as well. Installation was a snap.

There were numerous issues loading it onto my computer. Particularly, WORD, and OUTLOOK. I actually think I didn’t need to purchase this and the geek squad representative just thought it would be an easy fix. It wasn’t. Three online geek squad reps couldn’t get it to load correctly and the entire experience was exasperating.

Frustrating that it’s in the cloud now, but product still works the same.

We did not purchase this item. This was a mistake on someone's part. we purchased the one time ...the techs need to read the instructions carefully or else get the facts from the customer.

DO NOT BUY - CANNOT BE USED AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME! I bought this item from BestBuy on the Cyber Monday sales (2018) and it was a good price. I bought it with a new HP laptop. I went to set this up using the Key provided by Best Buy and it did not work. Yes, I followed the instructions, and Yes, I made sure I entered all information correctly. Etc. The error offered another link to try and it also did not work. I went to Support and read through what I could find there. No answer helped. I went to Chat with MS. At first the person kept telling me to take it back to BestBuy. I asked if they could please confirm that the problem was with BestBuy not activating the Key before I took the time & effort to haul my purchases back in to stand in line there and go through it all again with them. They could not verify whether or not the Key had been activated - which is a failure in my opinion. In this day and age of electronic information. And, he said to take it back to Best Buy, again. THEN... he finally said that it was a "bug" that was known to exist with MSOffice being sold by Third Parties such as Best Buy, that the MS Engineers were aware, and that they were still figuring it all out. Ok, so problems happen....but MS what are you going to do about it, why wasn't this communicated to Best Buy & the Third Parties, and ... what about those of us who are consumers of said product? What are we supposed to do? We spend all the $ and time figuring it will work and are given erroneous advice like just take it back to Best Buy. I never did get an answer to that question from the MS Chat tech. He offered no solutions - not even to email me when they resolved the bug. And he cut off the Chat before I could ask. So - in the end, it was not very helpful. Don't know if I can even get a refund...or perhaps a discount with purchasing it online/not through Best Buy. So - save your $ and time. If you are going to purchase MS Office, order it online through MS; don't go through a Third Party supplier. Even if you don't have the specific problem I had, you may be stuck with them pointing fingers at each other if there is a problem.

I'm not sure if it's the online interface, or the fact that it's running on windows 8.1, but there's quite a lag in opening the documents compared to older versions of office.

The software can be slow at times. Good for first time users, and students.
