Posted .Hello kadybug, Many of the updates made to Office were from feedback we received from consumers like you. With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. We hope this was helpful to you
Great!

I would recommend this to a friendSuperb Lightning Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop will be a replacement for another HP Intel 7 laptop that is 10 years old. While it still performs, it is slowing down, and I wanted to move from a 15 to 17 inch monitor. I have delayed doing this for a year or more because I was not looking forward to migrating files, settings and setup to a new computer. Literally, I did nothing but plug it in and let it charge, open the screen, and every file, download, setting ... including communication to my printer ... were operative. This HP is beautiful, awesome touch screen, backlit ... could not be happier.
