It was required in order to achieve the tasks I needed to accomplish on my new MacBook Pro Laptop. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the performance of this product.

I LIKE THE FACT THAT I CAN WRITE AND FORM A PARTICULAR PAGE HOW I WANT IT. IT'S GREAT TO BE NEAT AND SINCE I CENTER OR ALIGN LEFT OR RIGHT WORD IS GREAT.

She needed a Word package for the book she is writing for her 4 Granddaughters and her 12 Great Grandchildren on growing up a single child of a farmer during the depression. She has found Microsoft Word for Mac to be easy for her to use and am teaching her the finer points of changing fonts and copying and pasting. She is one amazing lady and loves the product.
