Posted .In order to turn off your auto-renewal, please proceed with the following steps:
Go to the Services & subscriptions page.
If prompted, sign in with the Microsoft account email and password associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.
On the Services & subscriptions page, locate your Microsoft 365 subscription and then select Manage.
Do one of the following:
If you see a Turn off recurring billing link, choose it to turn recurring billing off.
If you see a Cancel link, choose it to cancel the subscription. You might be given the choice to get a refund for unused time. If you choose to get a refund, the subscription will go into reduced functionality mode immediately. Otherwise, you'll have access to your subscription until it expires.
If you see a Turn on recurring billing link, it means recurring billing is already turned off.
If you don't see options for Turn off recurring billing or Cancel, but instead see Paid with and None, it means your subscription will end on the date specified in Expires on.
Follow the prompts to turn off recurring billing. You'll have access to your subscription until it expires.

I want the old stand alone Microsoft Office. I do not need all the internet interaction, the cloud, and one note. Please make the stand alone products available for those of us who do not need all the extras in 365! I think it is fine for those use all the extras but I don't recommend it for someone like me.

Install was easy as 1,2,3. It was sent to my email and installed with in minutes. Gives step by step directions, so literally you can not mess up. It's totally easy, even if you have no technology experience. Just play the helpful videos and voila.

Thus I had to uninstall and purchase the new 365 as a family. Thus I lost the purchase price of the single person plan. It was quite an ordeal to figure all this out and ensure our computer could be given "read to go" on Christmas. I deeply regret losing the purchase price of the single use plan At age 80, I have been left with a wide range of feelings and disappointment.
