With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. The 1 TB of OneDrive Storage integrates seamlessly with the Windows operating system and includes mobile apps to bring your cloud storage with you anywhere. This is the package most individuals will want to purchase if they live alone and want the full Office experience.

I am retired from work force now. I used the Microsoft at work i in the past. But now, i only use it very minimally. I use my PC just to search, to study simple things, and connect with friends. I do not do logistics or statistical analysis, or research.

The additional cloud storage is a plus, especially with the limited storage on the Surface Pro 3.
