Also, why give a customer a CD version of the software installation with a laptop with no CD Drive? I had to buy a separate plut & play drive for the new laptop, although I was later told an online download is available. We'll get hooked, then actually have to buy the same software in 12 months anyway--but we might get an upgraded version by that time?!?!?!?

The only objection I have is that it is a yearly subscription now--they no longer offer a one-time purchase so I'll have to pay to renew this every year. So I'm not happy with that.

I got help and now just need to adjust from Office 11, the old way. The tutorials help.

Though many are squeamish about paying for something you don't own, the regular updates, added features, and extra bonuses (OneDrive, Skype, etc) are worth it. And if you haven't tried Office for a while? Don't hesitate to check it out. Way better than any other Office suite.
