I have always purchased stuff like this. Well, I was talking to a techie at work, and he proceeded to tell me all the reasons this was a really good way to go. First, it came with a great discount for the first year, and then yearly cost is less than having to repurchase every time there is an update.

I want the old stand alone Microsoft Office. I do not need all the internet interaction, the cloud, and one note. Please make the stand alone products available for those of us who do not need all the extras in 365! I think it is fine for those use all the extras but I don't recommend it for someone like me.
