I still use Office 2013 on my own computer, but it appears there is more functionality (and built-in automatic upgrades) with the 365 version. I don't like having to pay for software again every year when there are no real changes, but the newest MSOffice has some really nice features.

I have to look up instructions on you tube in order to use the new system.
