If I wouldn't have received the 3 months free of additional subscription, I probably wouldn't have done it. The Office, Home and Student had changed in the way it was sold since last purchasing 5 or 6 years ago. No updates like this one.

Boo hoo to you Microsoft . There are so many other ways to benefit from your products. This is shamefully not one of them. Not only are consumers paying for a yearly subscription for the same product, it also advertises your product manipulation and monopoly! Can the consumers be treated better ? I admit Microsoft is a great product but it is such a selfish and unnecessary way to rip people off yearly. At least you could make an every two year subscription!!!

If you know MS Office, this is the katest incarnation. I'd say all the programs are pretty much industry standards. I'm not keen on buying/renting software subscriptions but i guess that's the way things are going.
