Microsoft 365 - Works Great but Prefer Owning

I'm not please with that aspect (thus lower value score) but the software offers everything I have grown accustom to for Word and Excel.

Consider "single sale" vs. "subscription"

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was irritated because the Best Buy salesperson told me I HAD to buy Microsoft as a SUBSCRIPTION, which has to be paid again every single year. Later I found out I could have bought the product from Microsoft directly as a single install (one payment but no upgrades). I was replacing a version that was 10 years old and still working. I only use the simple functions of WORD, so don't need all the other fancy stuff that is upgraded every year. I think the subscription version with the upgrades is for people who need more functionality than me. And if they tell you that you save 10% by signing up for their credit card - read the fine print VERY carefully! For me the 10% of my $573 purchase was $50, and the savings is not in cash it is store credit.
