If you want to stay up-to-date with Microsoft Office, get this. If you don't want to pay a subscription fee, get Microsoft Office Student and Home 2013. If you don't want to pay for office software at all, get LibreOffice, OpenOffice, or use Google Docs. I only got it because my wife needed Microsoft Office for work and didn't want to worry about file conversion with other offerings.
