Purchased HP Pavilion PC

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The problem I encountered had to do with the transfer of data and programs from my old HP Envy PC to the new HP Pavilion PC. In particular the transfer of my Outlook system (emails, contacts, calendar, etc.) was very flawed and after spending several hours with two members of your Geek Squad their suggestion was to call Microsoft and see if they could help me. I'm still dealing with the consequences of that botched transfer. There were issues with other data such as all of my photos were transferred twice with a name suffix of ",old" appended to each file name. I had to carefully manually delete 20K+ duplicates to fix that problem.

I found the installation confusing. I got it done but I’m very comfortable with computers. I can only imagine the phone call I’d get from my mother if she had to install the product.

The downer is how the data is stored. I don't like storing it in the cloud. I'm also having issues with finding "One Drive personal " items to upload to the web.
