Why can't microsoft and google get along?

Don't like the subscription format

I don't like the idea of continuing to pay for a product that I already purchased for years to come.

Easy to Use

The annual subscription plan may not be cheaper than purchasing the full version for a one-time price but it can be used on multiple devices.
